Fishing Report July 2019
July 21, 2019
The walleye and smallmouth bass fishing bite has begun to pick up again, since the mayfly hatches, the Fourth of July week boat traffic and recent blistering heat wave seems to have passed. The big smallmouth have moved onto the deeper rock piles and mid-lake reefs, and so have the huge bluegills, and we are catching some monster size fish. I am still working through the flood repair issues of my home down in the Twin Cities, so I will still be unable to book any new fishing guide trips for the short term, but hope to be back in operation before too long. I will absolutely be back in operation in time for the traditional Fall walleye bite (September/October) if you want to plan a fishing trip during that timeframe.

Due to a recent severe flooding of my home, I will be unable to book any new fishing guide trips over the next few weeks, as we are currently focused on getting our home back in order. I hope to honor all the fishing trips I have already scheduled and confirmed with you. If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call on my cell phone 952-334-0115. I truly appreciate your understanding of my situation, and I hope to be back in full operation in a few weeks. I will notify you, via this Fishing Report, as to when I am able to book new fishing trips. Hopefully soon. In the meantime, go out and catch some walleyes !!!
